Role Description
We're seeking an entry-level Architectural Designer to join our team in Baton Rouge. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for an early-career designer who wants to sharpen their technical skills and grow within a collaborative studio. You'll support the team across all phases of residential documentation—from schematic drawings through permit-ready construction documents—while learning how thoughtful design becomes buildable work.
Responsibilities
Production of schematic and detailed working drawings under the direction of project architectsAssistance in developing construction documents and permit setsPlan revisions, redlines, and drawing coordinationSupport on presentation materials and renderings as needed
Qualifications
0–3 years' experience in residential design (internships and academic work count)Bachelor's degree or coursework in Architecture or a related fieldProficiency—or strong working knowledge—of AutoCAD / AutoCAD ArchitectureFamiliarity with SketchUp Pro; Adobe Creative Suite a plusEagerness to learn residential construction methods, detailing, and Louisiana building codesReliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects against deadlinesClear communication and a willingness to take direction and feedback
