Architectural Designer

KZF Design is a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and planning firm proudly recognized as one of Cincinnati’s Top Workplaces since 2021. We are seeking a creative mid-level Designer to join our architecture team in Cincinnati, Ohio. Working alongside other architects, planners, engineers, and landscape architects, this position is actively involved in both planning efforts and site-specific designs, as well as the management and production of Contract Documents and technical documents for construction. Supporting the Architectural Department and project management staff in meeting its project responsibilities, schedules and goalsProviding sustainability-driven data and design options using various stand-alone programs and Revit plug-insDevelopment of technical documentation for construction including drawings and specifications Assist with field investigation site visits as requestedLimited construction administration, including RFI responses, submittal review and occasional field visits Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited US collegeWillingness to pursue Professional Registration as an Architect in the United StatesMinimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Architecture working in an Engineering or Architecture/Engineering design consulting firm with an emphasis on providing Architectural design services for buildingsStrong graphic and layout skills using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Proficiency in developing construction drawings using Autodesk RevitProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proficiency in Bluebeam RevuStrong written communication skills, including report writing and document preparationOrganized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignmentsAbility to think critically and contribute to problem-solving effortsAbility to work both independently and in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team
