Draftech is now hiring a Residential Architectural Designer to join our award-winning residential design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, motivated designer who thrives in projects that range from production homes to custom home design and enjoys working directly with builders and homeowners. Design thoughtful, functional residential floor plans and exterior elevationsDevelop site plans, 3D models, and presentation-quality drawings (C.D.’s not required)Work directly with homeowners, builders, contractors, and engineersInterpret and incorporate client feedback, redlines, and regulatory commentsCoordinate with drafting staff to ensure design intent is accurately communicatedManage projects and maintain clear, professional communicationApply creative problem-solving to reconcile design challenges 6+ years of job-related work experience in residential design requiredDegree in Architecture, Architectural Design, Drafting, or Interior Design (2-4-year)Proven experience leading client meetings and guiding full home designs If you’re a residential designer who wants more than repetitive drafting, this role was created for you.
