We are seeking an Architectural Designer to join our growing healthcare team. This individual will support the planning, design, and documentation of a wide range of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, ambulatory care centers, medical office buildings, outpatient clinics, and specialty care environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare design, enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and is eager to contribute throughout all phases of project delivery.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, design, and documentation of healthcare projects from programming through construction administrationDevelop architectural drawings, Revit models, and presentation materials for all project phasesCoordinate with project architects, planners, consultants, and engineering disciplines to produce integrated design solutionsParticipate in client meetings, user group sessions, and design workshopsResearch and apply healthcare design standards, building codes, ADA requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelinesSupport the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and permit submissionsConduct site visits, field observations, and assist during construction administrationCoordinate medical planning requirements, equipment layouts, and room configurationsMaintain project schedules while delivering high-quality documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture2–5 years of professional architectural experience, preferably with healthcare projectsProficiency in Revit required; AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite are a plusUnderstanding of healthcare planning principles, building systems, and healthcare codesKnowledge of FGI Guidelines, NFPA, IBC, ADA, and state healthcare regulations is preferredStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentArchitectural licensure or progress toward licensure is preferredEDAC certification or interest in obtaining certification is a plus
