This is an opportunity to contribute to projects from early design exploration through construction documentation, strengthen both creative and technical capabilities, and learn alongside experienced architectural professionals. The position is on-site in Norman, Oklahoma and is well suited for a motivated designer who wants hands-on exposure, mentorship, and room to grow within the profession. Opportunity to develop practical experience across multiple stages of the architectural design and documentation process.Direct involvement in design studies, visualization, technical documentation, and project research.Professional environment that supports continued development through AXP and preparation for architectural licensure.Exposure to both the creative and technical sides of architecture, providing a strong foundation for long-term career growth.Collaborative setting where strong design thinking, communication, and attention to detail are valued. Develop early-stage design studies that explore planning alternatives, building form, circulation, and space utilization.Translate design ideas into compelling visual materials, including renderings, diagrams, material presentations, and client-facing graphics.Contribute to the preparation and coordination of architectural drawing sets while expanding knowledge of construction documentation practices.Investigate building materials, products, systems, zoning requirements, and code considerations to support informed project decisions.Conduct initial reviews of zoning and building regulations, documenting findings for evaluation by licensed team members.Support project coordination by recording key meeting discussions and maintaining organized, accurate project information.Continue building professional competencies through active participation in AXP and ongoing preparation for the ARE. in Architecture will also be considered.Enrolled in or eligible to participate in the Architectural Experience Program (AXP).Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.Strong graphic presentation and verbal communication abilities, with a portfolio demonstrating design capabilities.Familiarity with visualization and modeling platforms such as Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, or Twinmotion is beneficial.Prior internship experience with an architectural practice is preferred.Previous progress toward ARE divisions is a plus.Organized, detail-oriented approach with an interest in developing both creative and technical architectural expertise.
