A Day in the Life of an Architectural Designer

You'll juggle 1–3 projects at a time, moving between conceptual design, construction documents, and coordination with consultants, clients, and AHJs. As you grow into the role, you'll take on increasing ownership of full projects, design, coordination, client communication, and delivery, helping the firm deliver thoughtful, well-built spaces for its clients.

Responsibilities include:

Managing multiple projects simultaneously across different phases, from concept through constructionProducing construction documents and coordinating with consultants, clients, and AHJsConducting site visits, taking measurements, and performing code researchCommunicating clearly with clients and internal team members to keep projects on trackTaking increasing ownership of full project lifecycles as you grow in the role

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Master's Degree is a plus3+ years of experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio of projectsProficiency in RevitStrong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methodsAbility to create both 2D and 3D architectural representationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary teamDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and qualityA positive, enthusiastic attitudeLoyal, does this candidate have good tenureCommunication fluency both verbal and written
