Architectural Designer

Location: Sandy, Utah (On-site)

Reports to: VP of Development & Design

Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000

Our client is a growing, multi-state restaurant company in an active growth phase, opening new locations while continuously refining the guest experience and evolving its brand standards.

Your Role:

As an Architectural Designer, you'll lead restaurant design projects from initial concept through construction documentation, balancing brand vision, operational needs, and construction realities to create guest environments that are functional and scalable.

What You'll Do:

Lead restaurant design projects from initial concept through construction documentationDevelop test-fits, floor plans, site plans, and elevations for new and renovated locationsCoordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout each projectSupport entitlement, zoning, design review, and permitting processesReview construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and design packagesRefine finishes, lighting, signage, and interior environments to align with brand standardsManage design schedules and consultant coordination across multiple concurrent projectsHelp evolve the restaurant prototype as the brand continues to grow

What You'll Bring:

8+ years of experience in architecture, interior architecture, or restaurant/hospitality/retail designHands-on experience designing restaurant, fast-casual, or fast-food spaces, including layouts and kitchen/back-of-house planningStrong experience developing test-fits, floor plans, elevations, and construction documentationWorking knowledge of zoning, entitlement, permitting, and building codesAutoCAD proficiency required; Revit and SketchUp experience preferredAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong communication and organizational skillsWilling and able to work 100% on-site, with no remote or hybrid flexibilityMust qualify as a U.S. Person and be able to work without visa sponsorship
