Architectural Designer

Gordon Prill, Inc. is seeking a talented Mid-Level Architect/Designer with a minimum of three years of experience to participate on a full-service design-build team. We specialize in complex industrial and technology projects. This person will be part of a team of in-house professionals including architects, mechanical and electrical engineers and construction managers. Salary will be commensurate with background and project experience.

Our client base is primarily within Silicon Valley and consists of emerging and established clients in the semiconductor, aerospace, biotech and university markets requiring innovative design solutions for research, testing, manufacturing and production facilities.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years architectural design experienceExperience designing clean rooms, laboratories and other intricate industrial facilitiesBA or BArchLEED accreditation desirableStrong production and coordination skills using Autodesk Revit is requiredStrong production skills using AutoCAD is desiredStrong skills with MS Word, Teams, Excel, Access and ProjectKnowledge of current Title 24, CBC and local Building and Fire Codes is essentialMust have experience with Labs, Clean Rooms and Industrial projectsStrong written and verbal communications skills required to coordinate work between in-house design team membersStrong presentation and teaming skills to coordinate with client management and end-user representativesU.S. Citizenship mandatory due to client requirements
