Role: Residential Architectural Designer / Architect

Salary: $45,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year+ All Benefits with Company Car or Gas Card

We are an award-winning design-build firm specializing in luxury custom homes, large-scale renovations, additions, and high-end residential construction throughout the Triangle. Position Overview

This position is ideal for someone passionate about residential architecture who enjoys creating thoughtful, functional, and beautiful homes and turning prospects into closed clients. You'll work closely with homeowners, our interior design team, project managers, and construction staff to transform ideas into buildable plans.

Responsibilities

Design custom homes, additions, and major renovations

Produce construction documents and permit drawings

Develop floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings

Meet with clients to understand their vision and guide design decisions

Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, and local jurisdictions

Revise plans based on client feedback and construction requirements

Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and zoning regulations

Collaborate closely with our design-build team throughout each project

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field

Licensed Architect preferred, but experienced Architectural Designers are encouraged to apply

3+ years of residential design experience (custom homes or luxury remodeling preferred)

Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building codes

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar design software

Experience creating permit-ready construction documents

Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Pay: $76,037.91 - $95,572.53 per year
