Architectural Designer - Healthcare, Tech, Education

Lead architectural design for healthcare, education, and science & technology projects from conceptual design through construction administration.Create and manage BIM models and construction documentation using Revit; produce detailed drawings in AutoCAD and supplementary documentation as required.Develop 3D visualizations, massing studies and presentation graphics using SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.Coordinate with clients, consultants (MEP, structural, AV/IT), contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and integrate building systems.Perform code research, life-safety analysis, and accessibility reviews specific to healthcare and education facilities and prepare compliance documentation.Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and details to ensure constructability and adherence to project requirements and budgets.Participate in site visits, field observation, and construction administration to confirm design intent and address on-site challenges.Mentor junior designers and technical staff; review drawings and provide constructive feedback to maintain quality and consistency across projects.Contribute to business development efforts, proposals, and client presentations; support practice-wide knowledge sharing and standard details development.Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture or related field (B.Arch, M.Arch or equivalent).3+ years of professional experience designing healthcare, education, science & technology or commercial projects; experience across multiple project phases preferred.Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling and construction documentation; strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.Experience creating 3D models and presentation graphics with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing construction documents and construction documentation for complex projects.Familiarity with healthcare design principles, evidence-based design, and specific code/operational requirements for medical facilities.Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical systems and working with consultants on MEP/structural/technology integration.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to clients and leading design reviews.Licensed architect or on the path to licensure (or equivalent professional registration) preferred.Knowledge of sustainable design practices and building performance considerations is a plus.Portfolio demonstrating relevant healthcare, education, science & technology or commercial design work required.Benefits You must keep the JobID: linkedin : LM5-1982379 -- in the email subject line for your application to be considered.
