Responsibilities Responsible for technical design aspects for small to mid-size projects to include investigation, evaluation, & recommendation of design solutions to best meet the client’s needsAssist with architectural design of projectsRecommends design solutionsCoordinates with other disciplines on the design processProvides technical guidance to less experienced staffProduce architectural drawings and virtual building models in compliance with office standards for graphics, model structure, and data managementPrepares visualizations of the projectAssist with project review and documentation for code compliancePrepare and complete constructible details for the projectAssist with editing of project specificationsAssist with cost estimating for all architectural aspects of the projectAssist with High Performance Design (LEED, CHPS, etc.) Bachelor's degree in architecture5+ years of experience as a non-licensed Architectural DesignerProficient in BIM software, Revit preferredProficient in architectural visualization softwareProficient in architectural specification software, SpecLink preferredProficient in project information management software, NewForma preferredProficient in Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of modern building construction methods and materials and of the preparation of specificationsExcellent verbal and written skills, including ability to present to others in small and large group formatsExcellent project management skills, with ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities effectively, while delivering quality work on timeExcellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a priority on cost effectiveness and client satisfaction Company Overview Architecture, Engineering, & Construction Management It was founded in 1970, and is headquartered in Watertown, New York, USA, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
