Architectural Designer I (On-Site)

Company Description Cuhaci Peterson® is a Central Florida-based commercial design firm that provides comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for clients across the United States. This role supports project teams by preparing construction drawings, developing architectural design concepts, and producing detailed plans and elevations under the guidance of senior staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with design development, coordinating drawing sets, updating documents based on review feedback, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. The Architectural Designer I will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other team members, attend on-site meetings as needed, and help maintain project documentation and files. Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design.Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings.Candidates should possess skills in Drawing and visual representation of design concepts.Candidates should possess an understanding of Urban Planning principles and their impact on commercial projects.Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in architecture or a closely related field.Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.Knowledge of building codes, standards, and basic construction practices is beneficial.
