Architectural Designer III at Clark Nexsen Asheville, NC

We seek to hire a creative, ambitious Architectural Designer III who shares our commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and innovation. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to shape architectural projects in a variety of typologies and scales for clients that include educational and cultural institutions, commercial developers, government entities, and local communities. Bachelor's or Master's degree from an NAAB accredited Architecture program 8+ years of professional experience Prior experience in an architectural practice or related field will be given special consideration Physical model building, experience in a model building shop is strongly preferred Excellent graphic, drawing, and presentation capabilities Exposure to environmental analysis applications such asClimate Studio,Sefaira, Insight360, and Lady Bug/Honeybee is a plus Commitment to sustainable design principles and interest in achieving accreditation in LEED AP, WELL AP, and/or Green Globes We have selected two as common days in the office to nurture collaboration and innovation and to support learning and growth through engagement with colleagues.We are asking everyone to be present on Mondays and Thursdays, with a required third day that will provide additional flexibility and be set established between you and your supervisor (with consideration given to your project team members and clients).
