Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to contribute to design and production for multifamily and mixed-use projects, including affordable and student housing. Lead Revit modeling and development of BIM content to support design, documentation, and coordination across project phases.Act as Job Captain on medium to large-scale multifamily and mixed-use projects: prepare, manage, and QA construction documents (CDs) and permit sets.Develop design drawings, details, and schedules for schematic design, design development, and construction documents in collaboration with project principals and designers.Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil consultants to resolve technical issues and integrate building systems into architectural documentation.Produce clear, client-ready presentation materials including renderings, diagrams, and design narratives for meetings, approvals, and entitlements.Manage drawing standards, templates, and BIM execution for consistency, accuracy, and efficient collaboration within project teams.Perform code research and ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility (ADA), and zoning requirements; incorporate life-safety and egress strategies.Support affordable housing funding and compliance documentation as required by project/program guidelines.Conduct site visits and construction administration tasks including RFI review, submittal coordination, and periodic observation to verify design intent.Mentor and review work of junior designers and coordinators; provide guidance on Revit workflows, detailing, and documentation best practices.Participate in client meetings, public hearings, and coordination with stakeholders to communicate design solutions and respond to feedback.Manage project schedules, deliverables, and coordination tasks to meet budget, quality, and timeline goals.Qualifications You must keep the JobID: linkedin : LM5-1985798 -- in the email subject line for your application to be considered.
