About the Role
Our client, a highly respected architectural firm known for its visionary approach to urban design, is seeking a talented Architectural Designer with a specialization in mixed-use developments. You will be involved in all design phases, from concept development and schematic design through to detailed documentation and construction administration, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Develop innovative architectural concepts and designs for mixed-use projects, including residential towers, retail spaces, and public amenities. Produce high-quality design documentation, including drawings, renderings, and specifications. Collaborate with urban planners, landscape architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants to ensure integrated design solutions. Conduct site analysis and programming studies to inform design decisions. Present design proposals and progress updates to clients, stakeholders, and review boards. Ensure designs comply with zoning regulations, building codes, and accessibility standards. Coordinate with construction teams during the construction phase, addressing design-related issues. Assist in the selection of materials and finishes, ensuring aesthetic quality and performance. Maintain project files and documentation meticulously. Stay current with architectural trends and best practices in mixed-use development. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on mixed-use projects. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent design and visualization skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work. Solid understanding of zoning laws, building codes, and construction methods. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience with public approvals and community engagement is a plus. Passion for creating dynamic and functional urban spaces.
