Role Description This is a part-time or contract role with potential for full-time work over time, remote Architectural Designer / Production role, ideally handy to travel to site locations within New England. The role involves developing architectural drawings and construction documents from schematic design through detailed documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing plans, elevations, sections, and details; assisting with design concepts and space planning; and coordinating drawings with consultants and contractors. The individual will participate in project meetings, support design revisions, maintain organized project files, and help prepare materials for client presentations. Collaboration with project architects and other team members to meet deadlines and project goals is an essential part of this position.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Architectural Design to support project planning, spatial organization, and design development.Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings to produce precise plans, details, and documentation suitable for permitting and construction.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; professional licensure track or interest in licensure is preferred.Proficiency in architectural design and documentation software (Revit and Enscape), and familiarity with 3D modeling or visualization tools is beneficial.Knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and materials; ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a studio environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills.
