Architectural Designer - Revit

ResourceTek is the Human Capital subsidiary of an ENR ranked, multi-discipline Engineering firm providing technical services to industry and government in all areas of Engineering, Information Technology, and a broad range of other technical disciplines. We are currently seeking an Architectural Revit Drafter/Designer with 4+ years of experience to join our client’s team in Nashville, TN. We are searching for motivated Designers or Architects who are interested in working with a successful multidisciplinary firm specializing in commercial and industrial design projects. Prepare architectural backgrounds for pre-engineered metal buildings for commercial and industrial projects while laying out walls, ceilings, piping, HVAC, etc.Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.Develop conceptual designs and translate them into detailed architectural plans using Revit software.Produce comprehensive construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.Review and coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design issues and ensure project quality.Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in architectural design and technology.Participate in design reviews, presentations, and client meetings to communicate project progress and solicit feedback. Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in industrial and commercial architectural design.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software is required.Strong design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail.Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.Experience with other design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or BlueBeam is a plus.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.ResourceTek is an equal opportunity employer that believes strength is in diversity.
