Position: Architectural Designer 2. This is an opportunity for an emerging architectural professional ready to take ownership of project components, collaborate closely with clients and consultants, and help move projects forward with confidence and clarity.In this role, you'll contribute across every phase of the process, from design development and documentation to construction administration and project coordination. You're also actively working toward licensure and excited to keep growing your technical and leadership skills.What You'll DoLead design development for assigned project scopes and building typesTranslate client goals, program requirements, and code constraints into coordinated design solutionsProduce complete permit and construction drawing sets with strong attention to detail and constructabilityDevelop project details, specifications, and material documentationCoordinate drawings and models with consultants and internal teamsParticipate in client presentations, design reviews, and QA/QC processesConduct site observations and prepare professional field reportsReview RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings alongside project leadershipSupport punch lists, project closeout activities, and construction evaluationsTrack task-level schedules, deliverables, and project coordination effortsCommunicate project updates, challenges, and solutions proactivelyContribute to scope, fee, and project planning discussionsMentor Designer 1s and interns on technical execution and workflow efficiencyTools You'll UseRevit and BIM coordination toolsConstruction documentation and detailing softwareMicrosoft Office SuiteProject scheduling and coordination platformsBuilding codes, accessibility standards, and technical reference resourcesWhat You'll Bring3 to 5 years of post-graduate architectural experienceProgress toward architectural licensure, including active AXP and ARE participationExperience producing coordinated construction documents and permit setsStrong understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction systemsAbility to lead defined project scopes with minimal supervisionExperience coordinating with consultants, vendors, and project stakeholdersStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to mentor junior team members and contribute to team successExperience with feasibility studies, programming, schematic design, and construction administrationA collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality design and documentationWhy Join the KrewKinetic Design + Development is pushing the limits of traditional architectural practice.
