Architectural Designer We are seeking a skilled and creative Architectural Designer to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for various architectural projects. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other design professionals to bring their visions to life. Responsibilities:Use your expertise in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp to create detailed 2D and 3D models of buildingsCollaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for the projectDevelop preliminary sketches and drawings for client reviewCreate final construction documents including detailed plans, elevations, and sectionsResearch building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with local lawsCommunicate effectively with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasksConduct site visits to gather information and assess progress of projects Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related fieldMinimum of 2 years experience as an Architectural DesignerProficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design softwareStrong understanding of construction methods and materialsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in ArchitectureExperience working on commercial or institutional projectsFamiliarity with sustainable design principles Salary: $1000 per week (negotiable based on experience) Location: Akron, Ohio (willingness to relocate preferred) Employment type: Full-time
