Architectural Designer/Job Captain

Family Health Centers of San Diego is looking for an Architectural Designer who will assist in managing every phase of the design projects from programming and schematic design to construction administration. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.5 - 7 years of experience drafting at an Architectural and/or Engineering firm.Working experience and proficiency with AutoCad and Revit.Demonstrated and strong design and graphic skills.Knowledge of commonly used architectural concepts, practices and procedures.Knowledge of architectural detailing.Knowledge of building codes, applicable OSHPD and other Healthcare related design requirements to include construction materials and methods, and graphic standards.Demonstrated experience with the permitting process.Traveling between sites and other locations is required as an essential function of the job.
