The Architectural Director of Major Projects provides leadership and strategic oversight for the planning and design of major capital construction and renovation projects across the university campus. This position directs the Major Projects team within Facilities Planning and Design and manages external architectural and engineering consulting partners to ensure that campus facilities support the university’s academic mission, institutional values, and long-term campus development goals. • In depth knowledge of architectural design standards, building codes, permit review process, and other regulations relating to planning and construction.
