Architectural Drafter

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans that adhere to project specifications and building codes. You will collaborate closely with architects and team members to bring innovative concepts to life, ensuring that all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with industry standards. Position requires a comprehensive knowledge of basic building planning and construction documentation. Opportunity for growth and advancement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:

- Assist in the development of detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD for various project types and scopes from Schematic Design through final Construction Documentation.

- Assist with architectural field survey activities and the documentation of existing conditions in AutoCAD.

- Assist with Building Code Analysis on project basis.

- Assist with developing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- Attend in-person and/or zoom design meetings as requested by design team.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

- Prior Architectural Drafting Experience, preferably 3-5 years.

- Architectural degree preferred however is not required; experience and capability are fundamental.

- Experience in AutoCAD drafting software; Note a quick demonstration of AutoCAD skills may be requested at the interview.

- Basic knowledge of Building Codes/Ordinances

- Basic knowledge of Construction Documents

- Experience with 3D Modeling Software (not required)

- Ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines and requirements.

- Positive, Efficient, and can work independently as well as part of a team environment.

- Communication and interpersonal skills

- Self-motivated/ detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
