Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our innovative design team. Duties

Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or similar tools.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to produce accurate building information models (BIM) that facilitate coordination across disciplines.
Prepare construction detail documentation ensuring compliance with building codes and project standards.
Assist in building code analysis and review to ensure designs meet all regulatory requirements.
Support schematic development and design refinement through drafting and graphic presentation techniques including 2D animation and graphic design elements.
Contribute to engineering CAD design tasks related to interior design, structural detailing, or other specialized areas as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent platforms.
Knowledge of building code compliance and construction detail documentation processes.
Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery.
Experience with construction site visits or construction experience is a plus for understanding real-world application of drawings.
Ability to interpret architectural schematics and translate concepts into precise technical drawings.
Excellent graphic design skills along with proficiency in 2D animation or interior design visualization are advantageous.
Strong attention to detail coupled with effective communication skills to collaborate across teams effectively.
