Architectural Drafter

JP Architects is a growing, diverse architectural firm specializing in K-12 schools, Higher Education, Governmental, and commercial architecture. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Architectural Associate with strong residential experience to join our team in our Oak Lawn office.

Your responsibilities will be extensive, providing you the chance to experience the entire architectural process—from programming and schematic design to construction documents for permit/bid and construction administration.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Experience: 1–5 years of professional architectural experience, with a proven track record in residential drafting and design.Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Revit software is required. Familiarity with 3D rendering tools is a major plus.Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of residential building codes, construction techniques, and detailing.Collaboration: Ability to work smoothly in team settings, but also independently with minimal supervision.Core Skills: Excellent communication skills and a strong capacity for design.
