About the position
An architectural and design firm is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join its team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in architecture or drafting technology who is looking to begin their career in a professional design environment. The drafter will assist architects and designers in preparing technical drawings, models, and construction documents using industry software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
Assist project teams in producing architectural drawings and construction documentsDevelop and modify floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailsUpdate drawings based on architect or project manager markupsSupport the preparation of Revit models and drawing setsCoordinate with architects, designers, and consultants on project documentationMaintain drawing standards and assist with file organization and project documentationParticipate in team meetings and design discussions to support project developmentRequirements
Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or DraftingBasic knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCADUnderstanding of architectural drawings and construction documentationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentNice-to-haves
Internship or studio project experience in architecture or drafting is a plusRevit (preferred)AutoCADMicrosoft OfficeBasic understanding of building design and documentationBenefits
