Position: Architectural Staff II Architectural Staff IIDescription: Huitt‑Zollars has a great full‑time opportunity for an Architectural Staff II at our Albuquerque office. Candidate must possess proven teamwork abilities and a minimum of 3 year’s architectural experience producing detailed and well‑documented construction documents in Revit.LocationAlbuquerque, New MexicoEmployment Type40 FT HoursCompensation TypeSalaryRegistration(s)NoneEducationBachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Master’s in Architecture completedDutiesSimultaneous work on a minimum of 2‑3 projects at various stages of development.Prepares project designs and construction documents using BIM software and equipment.Prepares various documents during the course of the project development including meeting minutes, project specifications, agency applications, etc.Visit project sites under the direction of a supervisor and assist with the documentation of findings, if needed.Research materials, assemblies, or building codes for appropriate incorporation into design and construction drawings as directed by a supervisor.Integrate information from consultants and suppliers into Revit Models for documentation.Assist in the processing of contractor submittals and RFIs by logging in the documents and routing them to the appropriate party for review.Attend, record, and distribute meeting minutes and assist with general project correspondence if needed.Assist or prepare graphic materials for presentation or documents.Select and prepare material finish boards/binders.Some travel to construction job sites and client meetings.Key Responsibilities Understands, follows, and enforces Huitt‑Zollars' business process.Productively collaborates with others and leads or encourages teams to achieve success and camaraderie amongst each other.Understands and follows HZ QMS and Quality initiatives.
