Architectural Intern

TAKTL LLC, the leading manufacturer of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) architectural panels, is seeking an Architectural Intern to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company that delivers innovative, high-performance façade solutions to some of the most prestigious architectural projects across North America.

About the Role:

As the Architectural Intern, you will help the Estimating, Project Management, and Sales departments by reviewing incoming drawing packages. You will identify critical details, produce takeoffs of panel material, and work with the rest of the team to develop strategy for executing on custom facades. You will report to the Director of Project Management, and will be working with other architects and project management professionals. Must be able to competently read and interpret architectural drawings and details, use Bluebeam to produce panel takeoffs, and communicate clearly and effectively. We will provide all product-specific training beyond those baseline skills.

This position will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with current rainscreen system design and apply those skills to help the team in real world product development and manufacturing processes. You will be exposed to a variety of architectural projects types located across the United States.

Internship hours may be applied to Architectural Experience Program (AXP) requirements.

Responsibilities:

Review incoming architectural drawings in PDF formatIdentify critical details, material callouts, and panel scopeProduce panel takeoffsStrategize with rest of team to develop comprehensive strategies for custom façade projects.

Requirements:

Architectural experience (current students welcome)Detail-oriented and organized.Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino a plus but not required. Commit 3-5 days per week June-August 2026. In-person at our facility in Turtle Creek, PA
