Architectural Intern

Responsibilities: Research materials and assemblies for appropriate incorporation into design specifications and construction drawings as directed by a supervisor Create Revit models, AutoCAD drawings, design and construction drawings with information provided by the supervisor or data obtained from research Integrate information from consultants and suppliers into models and drawings Visit site under direct supervision and assist with the documentation of findings Process contractor submittals by logging in the submittals and routing them to the appropriate party for review Prepare RFI responses, submittal reviews, ASIs, and Change Orders Attend, record, and distribute meeting minutes and assist with general project correspondence Requirements: NAAB accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Revit, AutoCAD Outlook, Word, Excel Photoshop, Acrobat, Sketchup, 3D Studio Max Knowledge of building design and construction means, methods, and techniques Knowledge of sustainable design approaches Ability to manage multiple projects in a time-efficient manner Ability to prepare architectural documents and specifications for projects Ability to work in a team environment Ability to read redlines and modify BIM models or drawings accordingly Ability to write clearly to communicate technical issues and design ideas 3-5 years’ previous architectural experience preferred Pay: From $20.00 per hour
