Position Overview
The Job Captain will support project leadership teams through all phases of design and documentation for Senior Living projects. This role requires strong technical production skills, consultant coordination experience, and the ability to contribute to project delivery with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate is a proactive architect or emerging design professional with experience producing high-quality construction documents, managing deadlines, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in Dallas.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate construction documents and implementation drawingsSupport project teams through design development and construction administration phasesCoordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal project teamsAssist with code reviews, zoning analysis, and technical detailingManage project documentation workflows and QA/QC processesParticipate in client and consultant meetingsCollaborate on project schedules and production deadlinesUtilize Revit and other visualization tools to support project deliveryContribute creative and technical solutions throughout the project lifecycleSupport Senior Living project teams with design coordination and technical execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field4+ years of professional experience in architectureExperience working on Senior Living, healthcare, multifamily, or large commercial projects preferredStrong Revit proficiency requiredExperience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, Rhino, Grasshopper, or visualization software preferredUnderstanding of building systems, construction detailing, and building codesKnowledge of QA/QC processes and consultant coordinationStrong communication and organizational skillsActively pursuing architectural registration preferred
