Our architecture team is seeking a senior Project Designer to lead the planning and design of complex laboratory environments. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with previous lab planning expertise who is ready to mentor team members, lead project teams, and expand their involvement in client relationships. You will work across all phases of project delivery, collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to create high-performance life sciences, R&D, pharmaceutical, higher education, and technical laboratory facilities.
 

What You Need for this Position

Bachelor's degree in ArchitectureLab/life science related project experienceProduction work with RevitWorking knowledge of parametric modeling (Grasshopper, Dynamo) is a plusWorking knowledge of Rhino is a plusTechnology-forward thinking and strong graphics skillsStrong, comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles/practicesAdvanced knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structuresExperience and/or curiosity with AI tools is a plusResponsibilities

Lead laboratory and life science projects from programming and planning through constructionFacilitate user group meetings, develop laboratory programs, space adjacencies, and equipment layoutsTranslate technical requirements into clear, well-coordinated architectural and interior design solutionsCoordinate with engineering disciplines, consultants, and vendors to ensure fully integrated designsWhat's In It for You
