Architectural Project Manager

Full-time Position The qualified candidate will be capable of handling a diverse range of projects. Plans, organizes, and manages the work of the project teamMentor staff while serving as a team builder and motivatorManage multiple projects of varying typesProvide technical advice and troubleshoots complex issuesProvides ongoing communication through team meetings and presentationsEnsure quality project deliverables while adhering to client budgets and schedulesCoordinate with and lead consultant teams and other disciplines to ensure project details are executed, including technical issues and project informationReview documents for compliance with building and ADA codesAdheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards.Responsible for managing project budget, work plans, consultants, and scheduleDevelops detailed project schedule and communicates key deliverable dates to project teamMaintain client relationshipsKeep the client informed of project progress on a regular basisParticipates in selected marketing/business development opportunities Bachelor of Architecture degreeApplicants must possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a lead designer or project manager in all phases of projects through post-occupancyDesign, production, and technical expertise through all phases of designCreative and thoughtful design experience with a solid understanding of the built environmentProficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is requiredFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup is preferredStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to successfully mentorFamiliar with NYS Code and SpecificationsAdheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards $75,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
