Architectural Project Manager

This role requires a blend of planning, coordination, and estimation skills to successfully manage projects and collaborate with internal teams, owners, architects, suppliers, and channel partners. Lead and manage the internal estimating team, overseeing takeoffs, pricing, proposals, and scope reviews.Collaborate with channel partners and sales managers to plan and direct project activities while managing the performance of individual team members.Develop and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and dotted-line departments to ensure smooth coordination and progress.Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members. Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards within company policy and contract specifications.Prepare detailed project schedules, including major milestones, for overseeing, controlling, and managing all project activities.Coordinate with the production, planning, and purchasing teams to manage supply chain lead times and confirm sourcing for all material finishes.Collaborate with drafting teams to create accurate shop drawings and fabrication documentation.Report project progress, including schedule creation and updates, in weekly and monthly reports. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or related field preferred. Knowledge of and experience utilizing ERP systems such as Sage, JDE or SAP is a plus.Ability to bid, negotiate, and manage commercial construction projects.Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.Expert knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Project.
