WJW’s inclusive, collaborative design process is fueled by curiosity, cultivated knowledge, integrity, and respect.WJW provides a well-rounded work and learning environment in which to develop your professional skills and support your professional growth, while enabling your contributions to the design of built environments that have profound positive impacts on individuals and communities.The Selected Applicant Will:Participate in a collaborative design process with project teams, including principals and project architects.Manage projects of varying scales through all phases, from initial concept to construction phase responsibilities.Lead project design teams, including monitoring performance, assuring compliance with contractual agreements, and maintaining design and drawing quality.Work closely with principals to meet client expectations while managing budgets and schedules.Support underserved communities by helping to bring affordable housing, community redevelopment, senior living, and residential healthcare projects to life.Thrive in a supportive work environment focused on education, exploration, staff development, and camaraderie.The Position Requires:B. Arch or M. Arch. DegreeExcellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.Project Management experience on projectsranging from $5-$25 million.Extensive experience with client, general contractor, and consultant relationships, communication, and coordination.History of creation and oversight of project scheduling and projecthourly account (Vantage Point experience a plus).Experience drafting RFPs and contracts for owners and consultants.Extensive BIM modeling experience in Archi Cad (preferred) or Revit.Expertise in developing well-coordinated drawing sets through all project phases.Ability to analyze and apply zoning ordinance and building code information to projects.Experience navigating green rating programs including LEED, EGC, and NGBS.Licensed as an architect in Illinois or surrounding states.Salary & Benefits:Starting salary range of $81,000-$106,000100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceSimple IRA with company matchPre-tax Health Savings Account (HSA)Short and long-term disabilityPaid parental, family, and medical leave15 days PTO and 9 paid holidaysSupport for licensure through AXP and ARE processes, other accreditations, and ongoing educational endeavorsWJW values a diverse workplace representative of the communities we serve, and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, and veterans to apply.WJW is an equal opportunity employer.
