We are small, have a flexible work environment and are looking to grow. Currently, we work 80% remote with select days in the Waltham office.

Role Description: The Architectural Project Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Waltham, MA, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees architectural projects from early design through construction, coordinating schedules, deliverables, and communication among clients, consultants, and internal team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project workflows, reviewing and organizing submittals, overseeing the development and coordination of construction drawings, and ensuring adherence to design intent, budget, and schedule. The Architectural Project Manager will lead internal design reviews, support sustainability and Passive House/Energy Code or LEED-related efforts where applicable, and monitor quality control throughout all project phases. The role also involves marketing; proposal writing; mentoring junior staff, maintaining project documentation, and proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

A professional degree in architecture from a NAAB accredited program required.Professional degree in Architecture or a related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred.Current architectural registration in the United States preferred.Project coordination skills, including scheduling, task management, and communication across multidisciplinary teams.Proven experience producing comprehensive construction document sets and coordinating consultant input.Proven experience in construction administration, working directly with builders and specialty fabricators.Proficiency in architectural design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.Proficiency with productivity software: Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.Experience working with clients and contractors, and the ability to build collaborative, respectful relationships.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration in Waltham, MA with independent remote work.Project coordination skills, including scheduling, task management, and communication across multidisciplinary teams.Experience with managing and reviewing submittals, RFIs, and other construction-phase documentation.Strong background in architecture, including design development, code review, and consultant coordination.Proficiency in preparing and coordinating construction drawings and technical details.Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards and sustainable design practices.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
