Architectural Project Manager (Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join a highly collaborative and growing architecture firm in Dallas. This position will be highly involved in land planning projects, from schematic design through construction administration.
The ideal candidate combines strong architectural knowledge, technical proficiency, and project leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams. Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership and Design Execution
Lead commercial and multifamily projects from schematic design through construction administrationTranslate design concepts into clear, coordinated, and buildable architectural solutionsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and work plansOversee the preparation and coordination of architectural drawing sets, details, schedules, and specificationsMaintain the original design vision throughout documentation and constructionBalance design quality, technical requirements, budgets, and schedulesEnsure project deliverables meet established quality standards and client expectations
Client and Team Collaboration
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the projectLead client meetings, presentations, and design workshopsCommunicate design concepts and project information clearly through drawings, presentations, and verbal communicationCoordinate with consultants, contractors, and other project partnersSupport alignment among all disciplines throughout the design and construction processMentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio cultureManage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture8 to 15 years of professional architectural experienceStrong experience managing projects as well as land planning/ urban designProven ability to lead projects through all phases of design and constructionStrong proficiency in RevitFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, rendering software, and related architectural toolsWorking knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, life safety standards, construction methods, and architectural documentationExperience managing project schedules, budgets, consultants, and multidisciplinary teamsStrong organizational, communication, and client relationship skillsArchitectural registration preferred but not required
