The Senior Project Manager functions as the day-to-day point of contact for all interface, coordination, construction oversight, reviews, verifications, quality assurance, and close out activities related to assigned projects. Assess the requirements of a project and then work with the Principal Architect to determine scope of work, budget, staffing, and project tasks.Ability to interpret a building program and generate varied design concepts in concert with and assigned by Principal Architect.Possesses advanced knowledge of applicable building codes. Works with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes is required.Assigns and reviews work of project design team. Checks progress of work and alerts Principal Architect to change of scope or additional services.Coordinates directly with contractors, construction managers, etc. during the construction phase and, in coordination with Principal Architect where required, renders decisions regarding issues and dispute resolution.Provides oversight to ensure projects are completed in accordance with designated designs, codes, specifications, construction standards, budgets, and schedule requirements.Promotes use of and participates in development of company design and production standards.Coordinates daily activities of design team, including in-house team members and outside consultants, to achieve an efficient flow of work.
