Architectural Project Manager

Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution • Manage architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, developers, consultants, and internal teams • Actively participate in project execution using Revit and AutoCAD • Ensure design intent, constructability, and code compliance throughout all project phases Team Management & Mentorship • Lead and mentor project teams including Job Captains, Designers, and Project Coordinators • Assign tasks, monitor team workloads, and support professional development • Review drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency Project Management & Administration • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans • Coordinate consultant scopes, contracts, and deliverables • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change documentation • Prepare and lead project meetings, including agendas, notes, and follow-up items • Oversee internal document control and quality assurance processes Client & Consultant Coordination • Maintain strong client relationships through clear and proactive communication • Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and specialty consultants • Support entitlement, permitting, and agency coordination when required Required Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in architectural project management • Proven experience with developer-driven commercial projects • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD • Comprehensive understanding of architectural design, construction documents, and building systems • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience with Industrial, Office, and/or Retail project types • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines • Collaborative leadership style with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset • Architectural licensure is a plus, but not required Work Environment & Benefits • Full-time, in-office role based in Phoenix, AZ • Collaborative and professional studio environment • Competitive compensation based on experience • Performance-based bonuses and advancement opportunities • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off Job Type & Location The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
