Architectural Project Manager II

MODIS Architects is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to join our team in Miami. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.Support quality control procedures throughout all phases of the project.Help ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, life-safety standards, and other regulatory requirements. Support permitting and regulatory approval processes.Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to address comments and compliance matters.Apply and continue developing knowledge of zoning requirements, building codes, life-safety codes, flood requirements, and local permitting processes.Assist with the preparation of bid packages, addenda, bid RFIs, and contractor evaluations. Assist in responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings and submittals.Participate in site visits and construction progress meetings as required.Assist with reviewing contractor schedules, payment applications, cost reports, and change orders.Support project cost control and coordination throughout construction. 5–10 years of professional architectural experience, preferably with similar project types.Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program.Architectural licensure preferred.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with construction/project management platforms such as Procore or PlanGrid preferred.Working knowledge of building codes, life-safety requirements, accessibility standards, and permitting processes.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly preferred.
