We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to manage architectural projects from conceptual design through permitting and construction documentation.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of project management experience within an architectural firm and strong experience preparing complete permit sets and construction document sets.
Responsibilities
Develop projects from conceptual design, under the direction of the Principal Architect, through design development and construction documentationPrepare accurate permit sets and construction document setsCoordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other consultantsManage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of design professionals and engineersReview consultant drawings for accuracy and consistencySubmit permit documents and respond to comments from municipal plan review departmentsTrack project schedules, deliverables, revisions, and approvalsMaintain clear communication with the Principal Architect, consultants, clients, and permitting departmentsEnsure drawings comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and design standardsRequired Qualifications
Minimum five years of architectural project management experienceExperience working within an architectural firmStrong experience preparing permit and construction document setsAdvanced proficiency in AutoCADAbility to independently manage multiple projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teamsStrong understanding of design development, documentation, permitting, and consultant coordinationExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailPreferred Qualifications
Degree in Architecture or a related fieldArchitectural license in the United States or another countryCandidates currently completing AXP, formerly IDP, experience hours toward architectural licensure are encouraged to applyProficiency in RevitKnowledge of municipal permitting and plan review processes3D modeling and rendering capabilitiesPay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
