Architectural Project Manager Location: East Texas, Texas, United States Employment type: Direct hire, full-time Work arrangement: On-site About the Company Our client is a growing architecture firm in East Texas focused on creating healthy, inspiring environments for commercial and residential clients. Position Overview The firm is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects from concept through completion. This role includes producing and managing construction documents in AutoCAD, overseeing schedules and budgets, and guiding projects through permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate architectural projects from concept through construction. Produce detailed construction drawing sets in AutoCAD. Coordinate with and review the work of assistant project managers and drafters. Lead projects through permitting and bidding, including communication with city officials. Support construction administration, including responding to RFIs and addressing field issues. Communicate directly with clients and manage expectations. Track project schedules and basic budgets. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of architectural project management experience. Strong AutoCAD proficiency and the ability to independently produce complete construction document sets. Experience with permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Professional degree in architecture or a related field; licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus. Experience supervising or mentoring drafters or assistant project managers. Interest in helping grow a small firm and building client relationships. Compensation and Benefits Base salary depending on experience. Commission opportunity of approximately 10% of fees for projects brought in. Discretionary annual bonuses. SIMPLE IRA with up to a 3% company match. Paid time off and standard holidays. Schedule Monday through Thursday, approximately 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Half-day Fridays.
