Architectural Project Manager

The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants, and they will lead the design efforts on a wide range of commercial design projects. They will manage the day-to-day responsibilities of a project, including the project team, resources, scheduling, and budget. This individual will play a key role in the continued success of the team through their ability to build relationships, lead and manage projects, and assist with the mentorship and growth of team members. Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an NCARB accredited school OR a Bachelor of Interior Design Registered Architect (RA) or Registered Interior Design (RID) preferredCommercial design experience in one or more of the following markets: Education, Workplace, Financial. Project Leadership: Lead projects from concept through construction, ensuring quality, design integrity, and timely delivery.Team Coordination: Manage collaboration between in-house architecture, MEP, and interior design teams across both office locations.Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and manage project schedules, staffing, and budgets to meet deadlines and financial goals.Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, guiding project vision and ensuring satisfaction throughout.Technical Oversight: Oversee design documentation, code compliance, and coordination of building systems.Permitting & Approvals: Manage submittals, coordinate with local jurisdictions, and ensure regulatory compliance.Construction Administration: Lead construction phase services including site visits, RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.Mentorship: Support the development of junior staff and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.Multi-Office Collaboration: Ensure consistent project delivery and communication between both firm locations.
