Role Description
The Architectural Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the Northeast . This position is responsible for developing and managing relationships with architects, glazing contractors, consultants, and developers to promote architectural glazing systems and high-performance glass solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new opportunities, conducting in-person sales calls and presentations, and supporting project teams from early design through final specification. The role involves coordinating product education sessions, attending project meetings, and representing manufacturers at local industry events and trade gatherings. The Architectural Sales Representative will maintain detailed project pipelines, collaborate closely with internal and manufacturer teams, and provide responsive, solution-focused customer service throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
Proven sales skills, including Sales and Sales Management, with experience managing a pipeline and closing project-based opportunities.Strong customer-facing capabilities, including Customer Service and relationship-building with architects, contractors, and developers.Knowledge of Building Materials, preferably architectural glazing, façades, or related envelope systems, and the ability to read or interpret construction documents.Experience representing products at Trade Shows, industry events, and in-person presentations to design and construction teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, practical terms.Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working in a boutique, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of accountability.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Boston, New York, and Philadelphia.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.Prior experience in architectural glass, façades, building envelope, or construction sales is strongly preferred.
