The CSI Spec Writer will collaborate with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements. Ability for remote-work will be considered based on experience. Proficiency in CSI specification writing and familiarity with MasterFormat and industry standards Knowledge of architectural design, building systems, and construction materials Ability to interpret construction drawings and ensure specification accuracy Proficiency in coordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Proficiency with relevant software tools, such as specification writing software and CAD platforms Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred Previous experience in specification writing is expected/required Knowledge of Ventura County building codes and regulations is a plus
