Architecture and Engineering Industry - Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to fill a leadership position in Dinter Engineering. This position includes managing design production and department staff and business development, and has long term leadership and ownership potential.

This is a design position within the Architectural and Engineering industry. This is not an electronics, manufacturing, or construction position. Do not submit if you don’t meet the experience listed below.

Skills & Experience Required:

Professional Electrical Engineering License
3+ years of design and project management experience
Understanding of electrical design elements, which include: power distribution, load calculations, voltage drop, wire sizing, equipment selection, lighting design, short circuit calculations, etc.
Experience in producing plan sets for construction projects
Experience in client interface and meetings
Ability to work independently, make decisions, and meet schedules
Ability to manage designers, project managers, and AutoCAD and BIM drafters
Experience in specification writing
Experience in cost estimating
Experience in Construction Support Services
Strong organizational skills
Ability to travel. Occasional West Coast travel required for day trips and rare overnight trips.

In addition to professional Engineering skills, candidate must have strong interpersonal, communication and relationship skills.
