The new faculty member will also contribute to department, college, and university operations through service, and will maintain creative and scholarly activities that inform their teaching. Cal Poly Pomona Architecture is defined by its students. Teach building envelope systems and assemblies, environmental control systems, building performance, and sustainable design practices.Coordinate a team-taught design studio and/or student advising.Advance academic knowledge and/or practice of architecture through research, scholarship, and/or creative activities.Maintain a record of service on university committees, to the discipline of architecture, to professional architectural organizations, and/or to community organizations related to architecture. And, The person holding this position is considered a "mandated reporter" under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
