Architecture Intern – BIM & Field Scanning

The Role

We're looking for a paid intern to join our team, gaining hands-on experience in both field data capture and office-based BIM modeling. You'll spend part of your day on-site capturing LIDAR scans and field measurements, and the rest turning that data into accurate Revit models and CAD drawings. No prior experience required — we'll train you on everything, including LIDAR scanning and our in-house workflow. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position.

What You'll Do

Conduct LIDAR scanning of existing structures and sites to capture precise spatial data.Process and analyze point cloud data to build detailed as-built models that reflect real-world conditions.Develop 3D BIM models in Revit, incorporating AutoCAD and SketchUp as needed.Collaborate with our team and with clients — architects, engineers, and construction professionals — to ensure models meet project requirements.Produce as-built models, drawings, and drafting deliverables that meet industry and client standards.

What You Bring

Currently studying, or recently graduated from, an architecture, engineering, or related program.Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD; SketchUp is a plus.Familiarity with BIM tools and workflows.Fast learner, comfortable picking up new technology and our in-house CAD systems.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

Prior LIDAR scanning experience (not required — full training provided).Familiarity with construction documentation and building codes.
