HDR Engineering is looking for a Bridge EIT/Designer to join our SC Bridge and Structures Team in Columbia. Participate in bridge designs, develop design plans, perform structural load calculations and quantity takeoffs, review shop drawings and field submittals Work in a team environment as well as independently while challenging yourself to acquire knowledge and experience in engineering Support the bridge design group and other disciplines by applying structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of structural designs Perform other duties such as bridge inspection and construction observation as needed Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certification strongly preferred.
