The Specifications Writer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining the written technical requirements that complement the drawings and define materials, products, systems, and quality standards for construction. Proficiency with specification-writing platforms, with the ability to efficiently develop, edit, and manage project specifications. Bachelor's degree or associate degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, interior design, or a related design or construction field is preferred57 years of experience preparing, coordinating, and managing architectural specifications for construction documentsDemonstrated knowledge of building products, material assemblies, and construction documentation standardsProfessional experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction environment is strongly preferredCertification in CSI's CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) is ideally preferred.A cover letter and resume are required.
