Assistant Architect

*There is no examination required for appointment to a NY HELPS position. The Office of the General Services (OGS) supports telecommuting where it is reasonable to do so based upon the agency's mission and operational needs. Generally, employees new to OGS Design and Construction (D&C) will be restricted from telecommuting for at least 8 calendar weeks. OR A four-year bachelor's degree in architectural/structural engineering studies AND two years of architectural design or drafting experience under the direction of a registered architect or professional engineer. NOTE ON TELECOMMUTING: Employees are required to apply and obtain approval through management to telecommute according to the agency's Telecommuting Program Guidelines.
