Associate Architect

Felder & Associates is a small architectural firm in Savannah, GA. We strive in a of projects ranging from rehabilitations to new construction. Architect Position: We are seeking a full-time registered architect, to join our team. Assist other project managers in the development of a multitude of small to complex projects from early schematics through final construction documentsAble to manage multiple projects in various phases.Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans.Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields.Requires use of advanced techniques and modification/extension of theories, precepts, and practices of individual’s field.Manages and guides less experienced architectural staff in the development of projects.Fully develop document setsCoordinate work efforts with a team of graduate architects and all usual consultants.And other duties as assignedArchitect Requirements: Architectural degree from an accredited School of ArchitectureExperience working in a professional team setting.Must be highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCADProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, (including Photoshop and InDesign)Excellent graphic and presentation skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsMust be capable of autonomous work as well as team interaction.Must be highly motivated with good communication skills (we know everyone says this, but we mean it.
